Hello.. My name is Raymond Chidiac

Personal Career journey from Law to Health and Social Care

Raymond's journey into the health and social care industry began as a professional qualified Ghanaian languages Interpreter/Translator for the NHS and other private care providers assisting service users with English barrier. Through his work, he witnessed a gap of person-centered care within the industry, spurring him to take action.

With his background in Law and determined to make a difference, Raymond went on to study at London College of Professional Studies (LCPS) and acquired OTHM Level 6 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management and started work a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) at Cygnet Hospital Ealing where he supported patients with Personality and Eating Disorders and worked closely with the medical team to deliver recovery treatment. His passion and enthusiasm to support service users was admired and appreciated by both staff and patients and Raymond in his first month working at Cygnet Hospital Ealing was voted as the Employee of the month.

Over the period, he decided to found a care company with the support of his partner Zainab who is a registered nurse working for the NHS. They were both driven by a vision to set it apart from others by prioritising compassion and dedication.

His personal story resonated with the right people, attracting like-minded individuals who shared his commitment to improving the lives of those they served.

One of Raymond's transformative experiences was when he worked as a Rehabilitation Assistant during  COVID-19 lockdown and post Covid for a brain injury client RF. Through close collaboration with the MDT and family, Raymond supported RF during her 10 months rehabilitation programme in The Wellington Hospital in London and facilitated a conducive environment to her recovery, enabling her to reach her full potential.

Raymond's dedication extended beyond traditional caregiving roles. He took on administrative tasks roles, supporting clients like CF, and went above and beyond to enhance their quality of life.

Recognising the importance of meaningful engagement, Raymond tailored activities to each client's interests and abilities. Such activities like organising Bible reading sessions for RF that targeted her language barrier and communication skills, Raymond infused care delivery with purpose and joy.

Raymond also play games like Ludu, Oware, Draught and Chess with clients RF and CF and helped setting up a study in their homes to enable them be on top of their appointments and admin tasks.

For Raymond, it wasn't just about addressing clients' health conditions; it was about fostering a sense of fulfillment and connection through everyday activities.

By bringing a caring touch to each interaction and focusing on the holistic well-being of his clients, Raymond redefined what it meant to provide care, leaving a lasting impact on those he served and inspiring others to follow his lead.

He has teamed up with qualified professionals comprising of his partner who is a registered nurse as the clinical lead and other experienced multidisciplinary team  of professionals and carers to provide the best care for their service users in the comfort of their homes and in the community.
